6 USB tethering on the Storm 1 with BlackBerry Device Software version 5.0.x.x (Platform 4.2.x.x) and VZAccess Manager is not currently supported. While this device supports the Bluetooth Dial Up Networking profile, maximum download speeds will be limited to 460 kbps. Further, typical operating conditions and radio interference (including interference from WiFi networks, cordless telephones and microwaves) may significantly diminish speeds. Verizon Wireless is unable to provide an estimate of typical speeds. Please check back for a new VZAM build providing USB tethering support for Blackberry Device Software 5.0.x.x (Platform 4.2.x.x).
